Aliona Kuznetsova
My name is Aliona Kuznetsova, and I am a photographer. My work is about complex emotions. I started my journey as a portrait photographer in my hometown Kyiv 15 years ago. From my first shoot, I was fascinated by how photoset becomes a catalyst for emotional expression for the model as well as for myself. Through my first years in the studio, I learned to work with diverse faces and personalities.
At that time fascinated by the works of European and American fashion photographers like Peter Lindberg, Annie Leibowitz, and Mario Testiny, so I found an opportunity to move to Switzerland to continue my work. Soon my pictures started to appear in Marie Claire, Elle Swiss, Forbes Romania, and the famous Vogue Italia: Photovogue.
Since coming to America in 2016, I have started to participate in fine-art showcases. I showed work with Raw-Artists both in Boston and New York City, and in 2020 I joined my first gallery: Gallery House, Palo Alto. I also was the finalist and winner of both global photo awards (TIFA, BIFA, See.Me) and local contests and showed work in different group shows, including one in Yellow Stone Museum.
I never know what the future will bring, but I know I will meet it with a camera in my hand :)
