Artist Bio
Abstract photography enables me to convey the richness of our everyday surroundings and express multiple perspectives through the visual interplay of light, space, movement, and dimension. I enjoy transforming imagery of modern urban architecture and Nature into unusual geometric shapes, forms, and stunning designs.
My creativity, inspiration and delight come from revealing what's hidden from initial observation. I like creating a sense of wonderment and curiosity engaging the observer to want to know “what is that?” Often, I’m asked if my photos are paintings!
Influences on my style have come from artists such as M.C. Escher, Magritte, Dali, Warhol, and others in the abstract movement. My photographs are printed on metal. Dyes are infused directly into specially coated aluminum producing modern, beautiful images with a special luminescence.
